Step 1: configure a production-shaped specification

Choose Round/Doyen bottom or three-side seal, then set the finished dimensions. Add the closure and top feature, choose the laminate starting point, set thickness and finish, and select 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 or 40,000 pieces.

“Recommend for me” is available for side-seal width, zipper position and thickness. It means the initial estimate will use a conservative provisional value while the packed product and use conditions are reviewed; it is not an automatic one-size-fits-all recommendation.

Step 2: use the quote as a planning price

The estimator combines pouch material usage, an allowance for run-level labour and production loss, the selected quantity, estimated shipment weight and the delivery route. It then presents one delivered unit price and total for the selected market.

The standard quote supports the UK, US, EU and Japan. Air and sea are shown as planning modes. The displayed amount includes estimated door-to-door freight, while the exact address, bespoke requirements and final payable amount are checked by a specialist.

Step 3: preview artwork without preparing production files

You may upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image, position it on the pouch, resize it and rotate it. The submitted order summary contains a composed preview for discussion. It is not the production artwork file.

Final separations and plate count are agreed later by email. For early budgeting, the tool starts photographic artwork at four process plates and adds spot-colour or white-underprint assumptions where selected.

Step 4: submit only the information you have

Email is the only required customer field. Contact name, company, phone, address, packed product, fill weight and filling details can all be left for the later conversation. Providing them early helps when a material or dimension recommendation is requested.

Both the customer and FORMPACK receive a configuration summary. A packaging specialist normally replies within 24 hours to confirm manufacturability, final cost, artwork needs and next actions.
